4) Digital leaders
Years ago, Manheim pioneered digital auctions with the launch of Simulcast and today we are still leading the way through our blended physical and digital CV programme. In a normal year, Manheim receive over 450,000 commercial vehicle bids through Simulcast, but due to COVID-19, an incredible 83% of all CVs sold in 2020 were through digital channels.
Manheim delivers proven results year in and year out for our CV customers and 2020 was no different. Last year, first time conversions reached record levels with nine out of ten LCVs selling first time and we also reduced days to sell for our vendors to an average of just nine days (down from 16!). Average sale prices also reached record heights of £7,600, up 28% on the year prior.
